KATHMANDU, Sept 19 09:44 AM NPT By: Republica: Om Frame House, which has been operating for the last 25 years, launched Om Gallery in Ranibari of Kathmandu on Saturday.
President of Nepal Trekking Association, Chandra Rijal, inaugurated the gallery. Speaking on the occasion, Rijal highlighted the importance of art and culture to create an impact and establish one’s identity in the world, according to the press statement released by the gallery.
A group exhibition comprising artworks of around two dozen artists were also put on display at the gallery. The artworks were based on the themes of culture, nature, people and lifestyle.
As per the press statement, the exhibition features works of Ramesh Khanal, D Ram Palapli, Roshan Pradhan, NB Gurun, Manju Khadka and Pratima Thapa, among others.
The gallery will host the exhibition for a month till October 16.
